It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sébastien Tremblay on May 19, 2025.
He is survived by his wife Sophie, his two daughters Maily and Olivia, his sister Mylène, as well as many relatives and friends who will remember him as a loving and generous man.
In keeping with its values, the family has chosen to pay tribute to him at La Forêt de la Seconde Vie, where a decorative crabapple tree will be planted to honor his memory and symbolize the continuity of life.
You are invited to join the family on June 15, 2025, starting at 11 a.m. for a moment of contemplation in nature.
Rooting of the ashes and planting of the crabapple tree will take place around 3 p.m.
May those who knew him find some peace in the beauty of this forest, where his memory will live on through the seasons.
La Forêt de la seconde vie is an ecoforestry cemetery; an alternative to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.
To date, we are the only site in Quebec with the necessary authorizations for the burial of ashes to have grafted a forest conservation servitude onto our project to ensure the preservation and protection of the forest in perpetuity.
Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by dedicating their second life to the benefit of future generations. The reforestation initiative initiative at Forêt de la seconde vie captures up to 175 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere every year.
