Jacques Beaulieu
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacques Beaulieu, on April 22, 2025, at the St-Jérôme hospital, after a short illness at the age of 65.
Born August 6, 1959, son of the late Gilbert Beaulieu and the late Marie-Stella Lévesque, he is survived by his beloved spouse of 29 years, Marie-Claude; his stepchildren, whom he considered his own, Vanessa Bolduc (Frédérick), Sébastien Bolduc; and his cherished grandson Léorick. His brother Gilles, sisters Colombe, Nicole and Denise (Stéphane), nephews and nieces. His in-laws, mother-in-law Liliane (late Jean-Marc), brother-in-law Patrice (Johanne), sister-in-law Nathalie and niece. His childhood friends Daniel Dormoy (Dorice), Richard Poulin (Chantal), Yvon Lamarche (Denise), my great friends Catherine Simard and Michèle Laporte who were there for me, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him and sharing a moment in his life. Above all, I would not want to forget our very good neighbors who are there for me. Jacques was always there when someone needed him, and always with a smile. Special thanks to Yves, who took care of our dog Billy for seven weeks as if he were his own.
The family will receive relatives and friends to pay their last respects. Rooting will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at the Forêt de la seconde vie located at 835 Chemin de l'Achigan Est, Sainte-Sophie, Qc, J5S 2P9, where we will share memories, smiles and tears in his honour in a peaceful and contemplative setting. We ask that you arrive a little early so that we can all make our way to the rooting site.
His memory will continue to grow through the roots of this tree, a symbol of his enduring love and ever-present presence among us, as he would have loved it. We couldn't think of a better place for a golf and nature lover.
Your presence and thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
As the site is outdoors (former New Glasgow golf course), please bring appropriate footwear and clothing.
A small party to celebrate the birth of his new life will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 in Laval. An invitation will be sent out.
