death notice Diane Sauvé
1955 - 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Sauvé on August 5, 2025.
She is survived by her husband Benoit, her children Fanny (Kevin), Kim (Jason) and Martin (Karine), her grandchildren Manoel, Bastien, Antoine and Jakob, as well as many family members and friends who will remember her as a warm, strong and luminous woman.
To pay tribute, the family has chosen to root a Ginkgo biloba in the Forêt de la Seconde Vie, on September 6, 2025 at 1pm.
A place of living memory and serenity, the Forêt de la Seconde Vie enables those who have left us to continue living in the heart of nature, contributing to a healthy, sustainable ecosystem.
The Ginkgo biloba, a sacred tree renowned for its longevity and resistance, symbolizes strength, eternity and the link between generations. From now on, it will carry Diane's memory.
We invite you to join us for this moment of contemplation in kind. The family asks that you do not send flowers, but rather make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of the Laurentians(alzheimerlaurentides.com) and/or to the Canadian Cancer Society(cancer.ca).
La Forêt de la seconde vie is an ecoforestry cemetery; an alternative to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.
To date, we are the only site in Quebec with the necessary authorizations for the burial of ashes to have grafted a forest conservation servitude onto our project to ensure the preservation and protection of the forest in perpetuity.
Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by dedicating their second life to the benefit of future generations. The reforestation initiative initiative at Forêt de la seconde vie captures up to 175 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere every year.
