It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Charbonneau on April 28, 2025.
A loving woman deeply attached to her family, Diane is survived by her close family and friends, who will remember her as a caring person.
In keeping with his values and love of nature, a tree will be planted in his memory on June 20 at 10:30 a.m., in a private ceremony attended by his immediate family. Other family members and friends are warmly invited to join them from 11:30 a.m., for a moment of contemplation and sharing in tribute to his life.
His memory will continue to grow through the roots of this tree, a symbol of his enduring love and ever-present presence among us.
In lieu of flowers, we ask you to make a donation to the charity of your choice.

La Forêt de la seconde vie is an ecoforestry cemetery; an alternative to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.
A unique concept in Quebec
To date, we are the only site in Quebec with the necessary authorizations for the burial of ashes to have grafted a forest conservation servitude onto our project to ensure the preservation and protection of the forest in perpetuity.
Future generations
Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by dedicating their second life to the benefit of future generations. The reforestation initiative initiative at Forêt de la seconde vie captures up to 175 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere every year.
