It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Dave Toulouse on June 5, 2025.
He is survived by his beloved wife Nathalie, as well as many family members, friends and loved ones. All will cherish the memory of a deeply human, authentic and generous man.
In his memory, his ashes will rest in the cemetery of the Forêt de la Seconde Vie, where a cherry tree will be planted in his name.
A living tree, rooted in love, a symbol of gentleness, quiet strength and life that perpetuates itself in other ways.

La Forêt de la seconde vie is an ecoforestry cemetery; an alternative to traditional funeral homes that allows you to contribute to the creation of forests, in tribute to the memory of your loved ones and for the benefit of future generations.
A unique concept in Quebec
To date, we are the only site in Quebec with the necessary authorizations for the burial of ashes to have grafted a forest conservation servitude onto our project to ensure the preservation and protection of the forest in perpetuity.
Future generations
Our alternative funeral services allow you to pay tribute to your deceased by dedicating their second life to the benefit of future generations. The reforestation initiative initiative at Forêt de la seconde vie captures up to 175 tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere every year.
