Sorbus essences are used in many cultures around the world. In ancient Greece, these trees were planted in front of houses, as they represented protection against misfortune and danger. This practice is also found among the Irish. This feeling of protection comes from the fact that the fruit is decorated with a pentagram. In esotericism, it is a symbol of protection.

The American mountain ash is, as its name suggests, native to North America. It can reach heights of 8 to 10 meters and forms a narrow crown. It produces large clusters of white flowers which, when pollinated, give orange-red fruit. It has large leaves with 11 to 17 leaflets*. It is distinguished in the forest by its metallic bark. It attracts many birds, as well as small and larger mammals, which feed on its berries and foliage.

This tree represents protection and good luck.
