Yellow birch

This tree represents purity and elegance.

Its golden bark is a reminder of the richness of the ecosystems in which it grows. The Yellow Birch was considered a purifier by native peoples, who used it to treat blood infections. It is a very social tree, rarely found alone. A family member will never be far away, which is why they are often associated with the family.

Easily recognized by its bark, the Yellow Birch is the emblematic tree of Quebec. It grows exclusively in southern Quebec, Ontario and a few American states. Yellow birch forests are enchanting. When the sun hits them, their bark lights up and shines like the stars. It's not uncommon to see Yellow Birch trees in funny postures, often even contorted to receive the few rays of sunlight that break through the canopy.

This tree represents purity and elegance.
